Description

The Grand Complications collection from Patek Philippe showcases the superb artistry and skill of the true masters of horological complications. Since 1839, Patek Philippe have focused on showcasing the most complicated wristwatches, which embody an individual and distinguished elegance. Seen in the Patek Philippe collection since 2016, and with roots going back to 2002, the watch has a strong presence on the wrist, with an impressive hand polished gleaming platinum 44mm case. The unusual transparent sapphire crystal dial and blue sapphire crystal discs portray the sky chart and Milky Way viewed from the Northern Hemisphere, and give the 6102P-001 its “Celestial” name. Showcasing the movement of the stars along with the orbit of the moon, an ellipse frames the portion of the sky visible from Geneva and all other cities located in the same latitude. Skeletonised hands display the hours and minutes of mean solar time, and a red enamelled crescent hand points to the current date. Housing the famous self-winding movement (calibre 240 LU CL C), this model has a maximum 48-hour power reserve.
Available on an application only basis, it is the perfect dress watch to be worn now, and looked after for the next generation.
